Overview

Morocco has a diverse geography, from the cooler, wetter Mediterranean and Atlantic coast in the north, to the desperately hot, arid deserts and mountains of the south. You can encounter a wide range of climatic conditions and you should be prepared. No vaccinations are required for Morocco. While there is a limited risk of Malaria in some parts of rural Morocco (remote areas of the sub-Saharan desert), it’s not recommended to take anti-malarial drugs for
travelers following standard city- based itineraries.

Itinerary

Arrival at Casablanca Mohamed V Airport. meet and greet by Rida Representative. Transfer to hotel for check-in, dinner & overnight. (Standard check-in time 15:00hrs).

Breakfast at the hotel, transfer to the meeting point in Marrakech. Lunch at Local Restaurant. Afternoon, start the city tour of Red city. Will visit: Koutoubia Mosque (outside), Menara Gardens, Bahia Palace (entrance), continue the visit with Djemaa El Fna square, Souks & Medina Bazzar. End of the day, transfer back to hotel for dinner & overnight in Marrakech.

Breakfast at the hotel and departure to Ouarzazate. cross the High Atlas Mountains and the pass of Tizi-nTichka (2260m). At panoramic viewpoints, there will opportunities to stop and take photos. Stop visit Ait Ben Haddou Kasbah, stop for visit and lunch at local restaurant. Continuation to Ouarzazate, transfer to hotel for check-in, dinner & overnight.

Breakfast at the hotel and departure to Tinghir. stop for lunch at local restaurant and explore the famous Todra Gorges, passing by Kelaa M’gouna, the Valley of Roses, where we stop to see the cosmetic articles locally-made. Arriving to Erfoud, drop the bus and take 4X4 to Merzouga dunes and enjoy sunset on camel ride. Then, transfer to hotel for check-in, dinner & overnight.

Breakfast at the hotel, then take 4x4 to Erfoud to take the bus. Departure to Midelt, crossing the Atlas Mountains. Stop for lunch at local restaurant in Midelt. Continuation to Ifrane for a tour in the heart of the little Switzerland of Africa. End of the day arrival to Fez transfer to hotel for check-in, dinner & overnight

Breakfast at the hotel, half day will be dedicated to discover the spiritual capital of the country, visit of the medina and these medersas: Bouanania entrance), the fountain Nejjarine and the Karaouiyine mosque. Lunch at local restaurant. Then, departure to Chefchaouen for orientation tour and then continue to Tangier, check-in at hotel, dinner & overnight.

Breakfast at the hotel, morning orientation tour in Tangier to visit of the cultural capital of the country, will start the city tour with the boulevard Pasteur, the Plaza of France and the diplomatic neighborhoods. Then will visit the Cap Spartel & Hercules caves and the famous Door of Africa, formed by the erosion of the sea. Lunch at local restaurant. Then, departure to Casablanca, short visit of Hassan II Mosque (outside view) and La Corniche. End of the day, check-in to the hotel, dinner & overnight.

Breakfast at the hotel and transfer to Casablanca Mohamed V Airport to take departure flight.

2. Rates are subject to change depending on new regulations to be established due to Covid-19. There is a strong possibility that new implementations will be applied to visit sites, museums, hotel rooms and transport, so prices may change in the near future. They may also change the hours of operation of the sites. We will inform you of any updates related to this matter.
3. Please note: unavoidable changes to the itinerary may occur due to climate change or government policies or exceptional events. We could be forced to change the hotel or even the tour schedule in some forced cases such as the visit of the Kings, the government congress, etc

**Best Season to Travel**
March, April, May, part of June, September & October - perfect warm temperatures (25 to 35 degrees Celsius) in the south, very little chance of rain and warm evenings, except in March and early April where evenings and mornings can be cooler (13° to 17°C).

**Shoulder Season (winter)**
Mid November to Mid-February is mostly warm (15 to 25 degrees Celsius) but can be very chilly in evenings and it may rain but rarely for long periods.

**Hot Season (summer)**
Mid-June, July and August can be very hot in Marrakech and in the south (up to 45 degrees Celsius), but more pleasant in the mountains and on the coast.

- First and foremost, we recommend layers to add and remove according to the varying temperatures
- Blouses/shirts with long sleeves to protect you from sun
- Cotton t-shirts and tops
- Fleece/jumper for the evening, temperatures drop at night in the desert
- Long trousers for the evenings for the same reason
- Light walking shoes/boots for any activities in the desert or mountains
- Sun Hat, sun glasses, sunblock
- Women need a scarf to cover their head and shoulders entering Muslim sites.

Morocco is a land of tolerance, where Jews, Christians and Muslims live together in peace. Yet, the official religion is Islamic.

**Currency**
The local currency is the Dirham (MAD). Foreign currencies can be converted at most banks, but it's not wise to carry too much. Pounds Sterling, US Dollars or Euros can be changed into local currency at any hotel, airport or bureau de change.

**ATMs and Banks**
ATMs are installed in most towns providing a secure and cost-effective way to retrieve money from your bank account or credit card

**Credit cards**
MasterCard, Visa and American Express are widely accepted, even in some shops in the souks, particularly for carpets.
